Capital & governance framework
A capital and governance framework that connects an industrial transition plan to accountable delivery.

Mandate
ALMANAC helped establish the capital and governance foundations for a multi-year industrial transition programme. The work translated a strategic direction into a practical operating model: who decides, what gets funded, how risk is managed and how progress is evidenced.
Large-scale transition programmes often stall between strategy and execution. Investment cases compete with near-term operational priorities, ownership is dispersed and decision makers lack a consistent view of what good progress looks like. The task was to create a framework that could hold momentum through changing assumptions and competing demands.
Capital and governance design
ALMANAC mapped the programme into decision gates, capital categories and accountable workstreams. The design clarified the information needed at each stage, linked programme outcomes to investment logic and established a governance rhythm that kept technical, commercial and operational teams aligned.
Clear decision gates
Investment-ready evidence
Cross-functional ownership

Ready for mobilisation
The framework enabled leadership to direct resources with greater confidence and gave delivery teams a shared structure for moving work forward. It did not pretend to remove uncertainty; it made uncertainty manageable, visible and owned. With a coherent capital narrative and practical governance in place, the programme could begin to mobilise around the actions that matter most.
